Not really though. I have a dog. I’d be devastated if she died. BUT, My teacher did tell me that today (jokingly…I think…) after a conversation about something i don’t even remember. It was all in good fun though. Anyway, here is a really quick sketch. Very. Quick.
Not too much mind you, but I figured I’d throw it up here. After some help from my teacher, Eric Askue, and some more tweaking myself this is the current state of it. I’m still trying to get overall proportions down. I haven’t even touched the tail yet, and the posture isn’t very snake like, but I hope to fix those soon. As you will no doubt notice, his head is no longer there. That will be a separate peice. I think the blades might end up being seaparate as well. So for now, this is what you get.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
Other than, here is a quick silhouette I made. Now, back to work.
Yea, I couldn’t think of a cool title, nor did I even care all too much. Here is something I’ve started to work on. It’s a 3d model of the creature concept I showed in my last post.
I’ve only put about an hour or two in this so far, but I’m pretty excited for it. So check it out, leave a comment.
“I am the stone that builder refused
I am the visual
That made lady sing the blues.”
Sorry that I haven’t been saying much lately, for those of you who even bother to read. It doesn’t matter really, seeing as how this blog is of a more “visual” nature anyway.
I focus on humans too much. Lets try a creature huh?
I love quickies…heh.
I had to take a break from this rigging.
IM WORKING ON SHIT I SWEAR!!!!! WHERE DOES ALL MY TIME GO??????
Oh yea, these classes for school that have nothing to do with 2D art. Hopefully I’ll start doing more 3d, but for now I have to put my nose to the grindstone, and rig some characters.
So for now, here is a progression of a concept I posted a while ago. You can see how I take a drawing to a not completely realized concept. Well, hopefully you’ll take out some other things though too.
